Research Position (Postdoc) - Working Group "General Linguistics"
The research group "General Linguistics" concentrates on comparative research combining theoretical linguistics with empirical methods. We offer a productive research and teaching environment, the opportunity of further qualification, as well as a stimulating environment for collaboration both within linguistics and across disciplines.
- linguistic research with a focus in theoretical and empirical research in (morpho) syntax and/or the interface of syntax and information structure, ideally with a focus on a non-Indo-European language; preparation of a project proposal (DFG, ERC or equivalent) to be hosted at Bielefeld University (65%)
- teaching of two courses per semester (4 LVS) within the linguistics programme (BA, MA) and other study programmes that include linguistic modules (25 %)
- participation in general administration and administration of linguistic programmes (10 %)
